Re-Instate Early Intervention Employment Project

Our Early Intervention Employment Service aims to assist those seeking support with job retention, looking for employment training and employability advice, as well as clients seeking to volunteer.  A key part of the vision for Re-Instate is the provision of employment services that build sustainable recovery for people experiencing mental ill-health.  At Re-Instate we work in partnership with Mind in Bexley Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust and BVSC (Bexley Voluntary Services Council)

Many employers face a loss in their productivity due to staff absence.   This can be due to those who may have been faced with perhaps a bereavement, family crisis, stress within the workplace. The number of working days lost due to mental health is continuing to rise with stress, anxiety and depression becoming a common occurrence.   The long term effects of this can be enormous and without early intervention this can often go on and lead to further health issues.

What do we offer:

  • One to one tailored support using the latest model from The European Union of Supported Employment –  EUSE
  • For those seeking work, a vocational Profile can be completed – this maps out an individual’s skills and work goals. This is completed by our Early Intervention Employment Co-ordinator, and forms the basis of a personal development plan.
  • Supported work experience and taster days – Re-Instate works with a wide range of local and national business partners to offer short and longer term work placements and paid employment opportunities to match clients work aspirations, including offices, schools, shops, warehouses and charities.
  • Supported volunteering opportunities. We work closely with BVSC (Bexley Voluntary Services Council)
  • Training, learning and development opportunities with partner providers including courses in Key Skills, IT, Starting a Business, Marketing, Bookkeeping, Time Management, Self-Management of Long-Term health conditions and personal development.
  • Job searching
  • Support in accessing grants and funding including the governments Access to Work Scheme
  • Support with Interview preparation
Job retention for people already in employment who need support and advice to stay in employment.
