The Smile Project

Re-Instate / The Smile Project

The Smile Project

We are so excited to be able to continue with our ‘Smile’ workshops.

‘Smile’ was originally funded by the Bexley Collective, a partnership between Three Rivers, BVSC and 64 Million Artists. We were given the opportunity to learn about co-creation and develop a creative project that could have a positive impact on mental health.

Our co-creation team came up with ‘Smile’, a fortnightly workshop where we work on a different creative activity, chosen by the group, at each session.

For 2023, ‘Smile’ has received funding from the William Kendal Trust and we are grateful for their support.

The only criteria for attending is wanting to SMILE! You do not need to be artistic or creative as we can all learn together.

Sessions run every other Monday at our Employment Centre, Unit 43-44 Riverside Centre, Erith, DA8 1RG, from 10 am-12 pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits are always available and there is no fee to attend.

Please call 07719 066 506 or email earlyintervention@re-instate.co.uk to find out more, the dates of our next sessions or to book your place. We do post our fortnightly activities on our social media pages, so make sure you check those out.

Smile at Work

‘Smile’ is also available as a stand-alone well-being workshop for the workplace. If you are an employer and interested in learning more about this, please call 07719 066 506.

We are thrilled to announce that we are taking Smile on the road. Re-instate is now able to offer Smile at Work, a fully funded well-being workshop that anyone can get involved with. This is a great opportunity to get your teams together and participate in a creative activity, “just for the fun of it”, and focus on what makes you smile.

We have funding to run 25 workshops, so don’t delay and book a session for your team today! Call Gillian on 07719 066 506 or email earlyintervention@re-instate.co.uk to book a date or to find out more information.
